Visited Thecha for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Due to a small mix-up, we accidentally booked our table for 8:30 AM instead of 8:30 PM! Despite being fully reserved, the staff especially selva went out of their way to accommodate us and found us a table, which we truly appreciated.
We ordered the Surmai Fry, which was absolutely delicious. As a Maharashtrian, the taste instantly reminded me of the way my grandmother used to cook fish at home flavourful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The Kolhapuri Mutton with Malvani Vade was amazing too. I’m usually not a big fan of mutton, but the one we had here was amazing.
The staff was attentive throughout our meal. One small suggestion I have is to offer an option to adjust the spice level of the dishes. Authentic Kolhapuri gravies are known for their heat, but it would be nice to customise it for those who prefer it a bit spicier.
I hope they expand their menu in the future with more Maharashtrian fish options beyond prawns and surmai.
Overall, Thechka is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Maharashtrian flavours and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!- Wait time

Thank you for the lovely review! We're glad you enjoyed the food and hospitality, and appreciate your kind words for Selva. Thanks also for the helpful suggestions—hope to see you again soon! Best. Team It's Thecha
Had a great time! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was really nice. Maria served us and was very friendly, though the service was a bit slow we had to wait quite a while between starters and mains. We were there with friends for a birthday celebration, and the staff were so sweet to bring out our cake with candles. Overall, we enjoyed our time and had a lovely experience!

Loved the authentic Maharashtrian taste at It's Thecha. We had ordered chicken lollipop, Chicken 65, Fish Thali and Chicken Thali. Thali is a must try. You need to book the Thali in advance. Maria was very kind, attentive and arranged a surprise birthday celebration for my wife. Suggestion: Solkadhi needs improvement

Fantastic dinner with friends visiting from India who also highly approved of the food and the experience … all dishes brought with them a taste of home and would specially recommend the kothimbir vadi , paneer thecha as appetisers and the butter chicken chops and chicken schezwan rice for non veg lovers. Next time will pre book the seafood thali and try that as well as it looks very appetising! Our server Padmini was very well informed and advised and helped with menu selections as well.- Group size

Easily my favourite restaurant in London! Authentic Maharashtrian food, amazing flavours, and such a unique menu. The Surmai Rava Fry was unforgettable — I even got a second one to take away. Friendly staff, great service, and they welcomed us without a reservation. A must-visit!

Absolutely incredible experience!
If you're looking for authentic Maharashtrian food, look no further, this place is a hidden gem. Every single dish we tried was bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. We ordered the Chicken thali, Veg thali, Misal pav, Sabudana wada, Sabudana khichdi, and Pohe and every single item was absolutely delicious.
The flavors were authentic, the portions were generous, and the presentation was great too. The chef clearly knows their craft, everything was cooked with so much perfection, love and care.
You can really taste the tradition and homestyle essence in each bite. I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be coming back and bringing more people along next time!
Highly recommend for anyone craving real, comforting and absolutely mouthwatering Maharashtrian food.- Service

It's such a good restaurant to eat authentic Maharashtraian and IndoChinese food. We tried Vada Paav, Chicken Lollypop, Surmai Rava Fry, Chicken Thali, Sabudana Vada, and everything was perfectly made. The founder, Swati, personally greeted every table and took care of customers. Sabudana Vada so crispy on out and soft on inside. Lollypop crispy on out and juicy on inside. They gave Paan with Thali and it was exceptional too. All the chutneys served with different dishes were separately made to match each dish. I don't have enough words to say how great the food was. I would come here again and again.- Price per person

Being a Maharashtrian, I got very excited about this place when I first heard it and wanted to try this for a while. The food is really amazing and just full of flavour. The place is quite authentic when it comes to the cuisine. We were served by Yash who recommended us quite some dishes and was very kind. Would most certainly come back again.

Loved this place! The Chicken Lollipop was amazing (9.5/10), and both the Pamplet and Mutton Thali were excellent (8/10 each). What made it special was the authentic Mumbai flavors you rarely find at other Indian restaurants. Priyanka and Diya provided wonderful service, checking on us throughout the meal.
